After working with ZEE5’s Skyfire web series, Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta has now roped to Netflix. Jisshu Sengputa will be seen in Netflix’s upcoming horror web series Typewriter which reveals the secrets behind the mysterious deaths in Bardez begin to unveil. Recently, Bengali actor Jisshu has opened up about his character and said that need to understand the character.
While unveiling about his character in Typewriter, Jisshu Sengupta told IANS, “My character is a complex one, but he is a good son. Perhaps after watching the whole show, the audience would want a son like Amit in real life.We are creating a fictional world. We are imagining emotions in our head and executing them through our performances. ”
Let me inform you that Typewriter starts streaming from today. Netflix original series Typewriter is being helmed and written by Filmfare and National Award Winning Bengali director Sujoy Ghosh. It casts Aarna Sharma, Jisu Sengupta, Sara Gesawat, Palomi Ghosh, Purab Kohli, Sameer Kochhar, Palash Kamble, Mikail Gandhi.
As per IANS, Jisshu Sengupta reveals that as an actor what he has to understand and face during the shooting. The most important part is to feel the character what an actor plays. Jisshu said, “I am an actor and I do not have to relate to whatever I play them on screen at a personal level. What is important is to understand the character, do enough homework to know the frame of mind of the character or his back story.”
Jisshu also added, “ That way, I am a switch-on, switch-off actor. I live every character between ‘action’ and ‘cut’ and do not take them home or live with them for 70 days while shooting. That is my process.”
Well, five episodes series Typewriter’ is a horror series with the backdrop in Goa.The story deals with three young friends in Goa who plan to search an old villa for ghosts, but when a new family moves in, the home’s buried past resurfaces in chilling ways.
